So even though it doesn't state that it will fit the E70 X5, it should still fit. I spoke with them on Friday and they told me that the following adapter only fit the E39 5-series.

Home Page > Search > TRAK+ Hub Adapter > ES#1899557 TRAK+ Hub Adapter - 15mm - 3075740725

Home Page > Search > TRAK+ Hub Adapter > ES#1905746 TRAK+ Hub Adapter - 20mm - 4075740725

Should these work for me. I'm trying to put X6 Style 232 wheels on my E70 X5. Thanks.

After doing some checking, it looks like the e39 bolt size is a m12x1.25, the x5's are m14x1.25. If the bore sizes are too small, you may need to enlarge the holes to fit the bigger diameter, but it shouldn't affect anything. Maybe ECS can give you a hole diameter and you can find out that way.

Will e39 wheels fit?

I just called Turner Motor Sports and they said this adapter does not fit the E70 X5. This is getting ridiculously confusing. It looks like boring the wheel is the only option.

As ECS said, you have to add the spacer thickness to standard bolts.
Get some bolts from local store or try AC Schnitzer - CEC Wheels. They carry bolts for BMW as they provide spacers for their wheels.

Lemans -

Thank you much for all your help with this. I never realize that it would be this difficult to get an adapter/lug for these X6 wheels. I was told by ECS that my standard bolt length is 30mm and thus adding a 15mm spacer, I would require a 45mm length lug. However - they only carry 43mm or 50mm. It doesn't sound like there's much different between 43mm and 45mm. I was curious if you know if there's a big difference between 43 and 45mm.

I went ahead and order the following from ECS Tuning.

- Conical Seat 14x1.25x43mm Wheel Bolt - Priced Each ES#263932
- TRAK+ Hub Adapter - 15mm ES#1899557

Hopefully - the 43mm length lug bolt is sufficient enough with the 15mm spacers for my X6. I'll provide feedback once I receive it and put the wheel on the X5. Thanks everyone for your help.

You probably will be one full thread less but that's the call you have to make.
