X6M 20" style 300m fitment on E70 X5

I have a question about boring of the wheels and whether it really weakens the wheels or the connection of the wheels to the hubs?

I have a 2008 X5 4.8i and can get 2012 X6M wheels that have been bored out to fit the X5 at a fair price. Is there any risk in using these wheels?

I know people who have bored wheel centers before with no issues. 1.5mm isn't all that much material so you should be fine.
