Does anyone happen to know if 214s will clear the larger calipers in the front? I'm seriously thinking of doing this when my brakes need to be serviced in 20k miles, but I want to understand what I'm in for...

Do the M and non-M X5s (I have a 2008 4.8i) use all of the same brake system components, other than the obvious calipers and rotors?

^^ I would think the stability control systems are different too.

They will clear 214s. Someone on the board overseas did this. I also have a set of X5M calipers that I will be putting on my e70. Just waiting to get them painted.

Where did you get them? I've been looking at flea bay for a while now with no luck

Yes. I'll be putting the larger rotors on fr & rr. I'm only painting the fronts as spending another $200 for the rears to get painted didn't make sense. I got the older ones, not the new blue M 6 piston. Mine are only black 4 piston. I won't be painting them until next month. I'm looking at doing the blue with "BMW Performance" on them instead of the M. Don't want to be too much of a poser!

But i'm struggling with either doing the Lemans Blue or potentially phoenix yellow. I have a space gray e70....

Would love to see the gray with Yellow. Nice Combo.

Anybody have any info as to cost?? Rotors/Calipers? I have searched Ebay as well with no luck??

Your in box is full! Did you ever get this done? Just wondering if you got it done issue free and if you have 214 wheels did they clear the calipers? Thanks
