Do any of you know any useful information that I could pass on to the dealer? Thanks. |

The speedo is not digital it is analog and the Canadian version only shows KM/H. However, look in the Idrive menu for units under one of the headings I think it is "language/Units" there should be options to change from KM to Miles this will show the distance and mileage consumption in either metric or imperial units that shows under the speedo. With the HUD it will change the display to show miles per hour on the windscreen.

Still doesn't help to know what speed you're travelling at in MPH. Don't know why they didn't included it on the speedometer for CDNs.

I have a US car with HUD, even though I'm in Toronto. I'm in the US often, and it definitely helps. In Canada, I just have the HUD show the speed in km/h and I never even bother looking down at the speedo.
Sorry to be of no help, you are just going to have to do the math in your head. 1 mile = 1.62 km
