Even removing the mufflers do not make a difference in sound, the turbos and the two cats reduce the beautiful sound of a howling diesel.

The DPF is what is Reducing all the Noise. You can Remove the Mufflers, Cat, whatever you want, but as long as the DPF is still there, you aren't going to get any Change in Sound or Gain any Power.
