There aren't any plug-n-play harnesses to buy. I had the dealer do the install and coding all at once, but I hear the install is pretty easy. Just tell the dealer to recode for the LCi tail lights; they should know what to do.
Thanks. Greatly appreciated.

If the tailights can be retro-fitted, does it mean the LC1 headlights with the LED Halos can also be retro-fitted to Xenon equiped early E70s?

No. I looked into it for my other 2011 and I was told that there was no way that it could be done.

Both of the original tail lights on my 2009 35d have water leaks, which I understand is a fairly common issue with the E70.

Does anybody know if the LCI lights are of an improved design, such that water intrusion is no longer an issue? That alone would be worth the price of entry!

I can't see why it would be too different. The Xenon lights are the same, its only the connector for H8 led lights that could be different.

Which part of the tail light were leaking? The ones in the body or the ones in the tailgate (or both)?

I had leaking issues with the tail lights of my 2008 E70 too. Both the lights located in the tailgate (not the one in the body). They were leaking between the tailgate cavity and the light.

I returned it for warranty fix and they did. I was advised the tail light rubber seal was the culprit on both tail lights.

Since that fix, it's been good (touch wood).

Not sure, they said the wiring was is different. it is a long story but my dealer originally agreed to retro fit them on my march build 2011 but after looking into it they determined that it was not possible. They wound up buying my car back and I ordered a another 2011 with LED's. Who knows, maybe it was just cheaper to buy back my car.
