Godamn Reverse Camera!
It is barely a few weeks after repair and have only used the car a few times but the camera has stopped working again! I have the car booked in 2 weeks from now. Any ideas on what else it could be or am I just unlucky enough to have a faulty brand new replacement?

probably just a bad luck...we haven't had any problems with our reverse camera at all.
sorry for O/T: have you done any mods on your X5 recently? I've recently order a set of Aero kit for our X5, how much did you pay for installation and painting?

I had a problem with my rear camera; screen kept going into yellow and blue screen. Took them a while to figure it out but they finally got it. They had to replace the cable from the idrve to the camera.

I would also bet that, over time, the cameras are the most problematic parts of the car. I'm so glad I decided against getting them!

you have the '08 right? Did the new camera look any better especially at night when it was working?

Since the SA controls what the consumer hears, the SA can make up utter nonsense to tell the customer and thereby deflect any blame, obfuscate dealership malfeasance and make it seem like they are the good guys and BMW mothership is the problem.
