What are the advantages of 40d vs. 35d?

Well, I just got back from picking it up, and let me tell you, I'm tickled pink. The Nappa Leather interior (which includes the dash), is really nice, and the Adaptive Drive rocks! Just from the little bit of driving I did on the way home, I can tell that the body roll/lean is all but eliminated.

One thing I didn't know is that the rails in the back have been eliminated. There are still four tie down eyelets, but the rail system is gone. While I never used it in the two years I had my 2010, I always thought about getting the attachments for securing cargo (I use my X5 to haul photo gear in connection with my photography business). More cost savings, I guess.

The 40D is running 306 BHP and 600NM. The 35Dengine just out in the X3 M Sport is running 313BHP and 630NM, now thats power.

I am completely satisfied with my 35d, which I plan to owe for next 3-4 years. By that time, hopefully NA market will get the 40d or some upgrade.
