Thank you for the reply. Ive been trying for weeks to get info about these bars.
Are you able to give me the exact model of the tow bar so when I ask for it I get the correct one? On the Execuhitch website they only quote the towing capacity (6000lb) not the ball down weight. Is it this bar BMW X5 M-Sport Hitch with OEM Wiring Harness CODE: BMWX5E70MS-OE Im in Australia and the only place I can buy the Execuhitch from is South Africa. I want the exact bar you have. Your feedback has been valuable. _________________________________________ Current BMW's 2010 X5 M Sport 40d Space Grey 2006 530i M Sport Carbon Black Last edited by Clubby; 11-19-2012 at 07:46 AM. |

Hitch just showed up this afternoon. Here is the cover of the installation manual. It lists the hitch capacity as stated but has a disclaimer that the vehicle chassis might be limited to 450 pounds.

Here is everything that came in the box. Including the plastic rivets for the wheel arches.
