^^^ Tischer is a dealership.

AFAIK, Castrol SLX is only distributed in the USA via BMWNA...so when you do find it on line, it is being sold via a dealership's internet storefront.

True, but I have found them to be more or less enthusiasts (Jason & Evan) and are not typical of most parts departments. I would highly recommend them.

Looks like Bavarian Autosport also carries the SLX for $7.95 a quart. A fair price, but certainly nothing to write home about. They're not a dealer AFAIK.

I don't know which dealership Bavarian uses to source, but they sell "BMW dealer only" parts and therefore must have a dealership 'in the back'.

Agree on Jason and Evan- getbmwparts.com Only issue is lack of telephone support on 'mission critical' orders, but generally the best prices I've found.
