Ya I think you are right he knew he was lying !
I dont know about thousands, unless the harness is thousands. the amp can be had for 2-500.00, speakers 500 or so. Im not 20yrs old anymore so the stereo isn't the only thing I care about .. been there done all the upgrades. I don't mind the OEM install. like the fact it all works as a package. the BSW speakers and added watts and channels are probably enough for me . being invisible is probably more important than the last 5% of sound quality ...
