I was thinking that the 336 rims would look tight if you painted or powder coated the insides black and left the spokes faces as-is.

OK I got it yesterday, I will post pics soon, power is awesome. I took it on a 200 mile road trip as soon as I left the dealership. I hit the limiter like nothing. I know it's the break in period, so I will cool it for now. I can't imagine what the Dinan stage 2 will be like when it drops, which I hear is soon for the X5.

I drove a GL550 a while back and let me tell you it was a struggle to get to 135, the 5.0i does it without thinking.

I rambled some winding roads hard, the paddle shifters are awesome. This truck is awesome!!

Thanks guys. From the time it was out of production it took about 30 days to arrive here. Took about that long just to get into production, so from the day I locked in the order it took just under 2 months.

awesome - would love to hear about the active cruise control and how effective it is.

pdizzle,

Beautiful ride, awesome color combination. Enjoy!

Does it have the new headlights (white angel eyes)? Looks like it came with the shift paddles... I just placed an order for my xDrive 50 a few days ago, and hope that it will show up with all the new things.
