I'd go for the Bamboo wood when paired with Sattle Brown.

Gebrauchtwagen: BMW, X5, xDrive 50i AUT*LEDER*PANO.DA*NAVI*R.KAMERA*, Benzin,

The deal is done and just put down a deposit for a special order on a 2012 to replace my current 2007 X5. Now the waiting game is on .

Stevev,

I am in the same boat looking to move from a 2008 E70 into a 2012. I wonder if you or any other thread participant can comment on the running boards for the newer model. On my 2008, the running boards were more of a discomfort feature as they tend to be wiped up with pants when you exit or enter the car. Do the running boards on the new X5 suffer from the same "feature"?

Thanks!

They are the same annoying design. Ive considered one without the runningboard. Similar issue.. The board needs to be located more under not side sticking out...

Kormaster,

In other words, running boards or not, the pants will be dirty, right?

LOL yes... U gotta step on to the board when you get out.. I used to just step onto the ground first... then your pants get the marks everytime.

Yes. The running boards did not change and you stated the exact reason why they were not ordered on my 2011 and 2012
