2012 options and questions...

I am planning to sell or trade in my blk/blk 2007 X5 for a 2012 model. I have a few questions and very interested to hear your feedbacks from all of you.

1- How is the new Hi-Fi sound system compare to the premium Hi-Fi sound?
2- B/t these two options, premium Hi-Fi Sound and multi-countour seat options. Which option is a must have?
3- How much over invoice should I target? From $500 - $1500.
4- Have any new 2012 X5 owners from Southern Cal get their cars close to invoice? If so, can I get the contract person or dealer info?

Thank you much in advance.

I am not an audio guy so my audio opinion is weak but the Hi-Fi or Premium is much better. I am sure other diagree but I think it make a big difference. As for the Seats, I would not get a BMW without the multi-countour seats. They have much more adjustability than the sport seats and are 100x better than the basic stock seats. If I could only have 1, the seats would be the choice.

Thanks for the feedbacks.

I got a couple offers for undered invoice with nav credit, BMW Mission Incentive, and BMW Loyalty from two local dealers in Southern Cal. I am not sure if admin allows to post the numbers on here. PM if interested.

If I can get a fair sale value on my 2007 X5, then something good going to happen to me soon .

You should be able to keep those credits (ie 1730 nav, 1000 loyalty) and be 2730 under invoice, THEN add in 750 'profit'.

(Edit: If you did the BMW Mission to Drive test drive thing, $1000 for that as well)

Is the BMW Loyalty Program ($1K) and BMW Sale Drive Event ($1K) are the same?

I thought you can get a grand through BMW Loyalty Program, 1 grand for the BMW Sale Drive Event, and nav credit for 1730...that is what I thought. Did I misunderstood or day dream for that 1 extra grand?

Yes, you can get that extra $1,000 for Loyalty. However, if you finance, you won't get the 1% APR reduction if you take the $1,000 Loyalty cash...it's one or the other.

If you are willing to drive up to Northern CA, I just bought an X5 that will do $1k over invoice and subtract $2500 eco credit, $1730 option credit, and $1000 end of year

Get the upgraded seats; the standard seats are horrid. The standard Hi-fi system should be sufficient if you're on a tighter budget and generally it's not that high on my priorities list for options.
