Is new X5 supposed to come with owners manual?
Maybe it is hidden somewhere, like the mats that they forgot to install, only for me to find when I open the void where spare would normally go (opted out of spare). Maybe there is another secret compartment for the manual?

Yeah, no options were given. Mats were still in the plastic, back in the cargo area.. Lucky I checked there. Anyway, is there a manual compartment somewhere? Some of the vehicles I owned had truly hard to find spaces made for manual/binders. And the funny thing is, either you had to ask about it, or actually check the manual to find where the manual is.. LOL.
OK, They will have to mail it to me, I am not driving 50 miles opposite direction to pick up a manual...

Crappy new car delivery service, imo...
Bang on them via the Dlr Delivery Experience phone survey, and drop a dime to the head patters at BMWNA...none of which will get you much satisfaction. And, find another dlr, as those bastards will not be 'glad to be of help' to you, for your first warranty fix. GL, mD

I got the all weather mats thrown in for free and also made a few comments about the delivery experience (felt rushed to get it done prior to month end) and they called back and threw in whatever other accessory I wanted (chose the rear deck mat). They didn't treat me bad but clearly wanted straight excellent scores on this.

It's a very big leather case, that has 7- big booklets inside it. One is manual, one is for navigation, bunch of small cards for service, brochure etc.. Dealers sometimes add bunch of stuff themselves. It's a nice hefty booklet. Here is one on Ebay like I was saying!

Make sure you got all your keys, again very expensive stuff. The prep guys have finger for those as well. This dealership that gave you, the car seems shady, so I'd make sure you got everything. That's pretty much everything I think. Of course lots of paper work is always nice (MSRP Page etc...)
