Madam, are we just bickering about the price?

What would you say for two pulls on a 4 wheel dyno with monitoring? Just curious.

It won't be $0.

First of all I'm a grown ass man.......don't get it twisted! Next, my original statement was to the OP, not you. What you pay for a dyno pull is something I don't give a damn about. So let's end this foolishness and let the OP get some helpful post............Phil

Cool. Just saying the OP has more to lose than nothing, if he is doing dynos before and after.

Thanks for everyone for their input.....I am at the point now of writing to Dinan for a dyno of their tune. They refused my e-mail message, so maybe Steve might look at my snail mail and take some heart. My only concern is I don't mind paying for a tune like they advertise,,,BUT how do I know that those are the true numbers. My butt dyno is not that accurate so I would rely on their dyno sheet for verification, but they don't want to provide it. They offered a money back guarantee if I was not satisfied, but then again it goes back to the butt dyno. Like I said I will pay for a dyno that gives me the numbers 93hp/103ft-lb minus any parasitic loss, but I dooubt that I would pay $2995 for a 60 hp tune,,,,,,,just sayin! BTW, no local dyno's around here!

Umm, why so fixated on the dyno? That can be faked just as easily as saying 90hp gain or 60hp gain. Also, every engine is slightly different, so what would give a 90hp gain on one may result only in an 85hp gain on another. Buy the tune, if you don't like it, return it. It should be about what makes you happy, not what the dyno says.

I mean you have to have a base,,,,I probably would be satisfied with a 50 hp tune,,,but I wouldn't pay $2995 for it,,,and I doubt you would either. I know that there are differences between vehicles, conditions, and dynos, but you have to have a starting point someplace...as far as getting the tune,,,yeah I probably would get it and if I didn't like it have it removed,,but still would like to know what I paid for,,,not just being happy witha tune....

Personally, I'd really like to see how the power comes in and increases rather than the top number. Is it gradual over RPMs or immediate (and potentially less smooth)?
