Actually, if you look at glaves, the trade in number offered to him isn't that far off...

And I do have a trade-in in the mix, 2006 X5 3.0 w/100k miles that they are offering $12.5 on, which is also very close to the galves number. It's a beautiful vehicle in great condition that they could easily sell on their lot if they wanted.

If the OP would rather PM me with details, that would be cool, just curious what the break down is in terms of % of invoice off without factoring in incentives and where they are applying the loyalty (if they are using it to lower the rates for lease or purchase).

The only trade-in value that matters is what the car will bring at auction. The trick is having access to the auction prices. This requires a license or a friend who has one ...

Once you know this number (and it changes monthly), you will have a realistic baseline ...
