The bottom of the bubble is a heavy tarp like material. The upper bubble portion is a heavy (not sure what mil) plastic. The two are connected by a very big zipper with flaps on the inside and outside to keep air in though limited air escaping isn't a big deal because the idea is to be constantly circulating the air inside the bubble.

So with it unzipped and laid out, I drive the car onto the bubble bottom, lay the top over it, zip it up and start the fan which fills the bubble in less than a minute.

Awesome review...thanks!
I was wondering, was there a reason you chose the 20" vs 19"? Was it an esthetic choice? I'm looking to get a winter setup as well and was deciding between 19" and 20". I'm not sure if you can answer this, but is there a significant difference between a 19" and 20"?
If you don't mind, do you think you can forward me the name of the eBay seller? Would love to take a look at what he's selling. Thanks!
Cars look great!

I went with 20" rims because I wanted to do an OEM style rim and they all came in 20" diameter. I could have done OEM 19" rims but they would have stayed too far recessed inside the wheel well with the fender flares, which I didn't want to remove. If I didn't have those, I would have gone with OEM 19" rims.

I purchased from UAP-Wheels on eBay but also worked with wheeltechtuning who was excellent with communication and timely response.

Who did u buy the four rears from?

I cant find a seller willing to sell just the four rears,

Do u think its possible to run the staggered with all 275/40/20" all around even though they are 10.5 and 10"?

Thank you,

Thank you,

Did 275/40/20 for winter tires on the stock rims on my X5M. It will fit on the rear wheels, but the tires look a little funny on them(looks receded from the edge of the rims)..tough to explain. Have been running on them for the last week, without issues.

Correct, which is why I went with a 10.5 inch rim to be slightly slimmer than the 11" rim. That way I don't have that stretched look. The Michelin tire design also helps.
