Did it just start for you? Any oily fluid/residue?

I've been noticing water dripping from underneath all summer and attributed it to A/C condensation, albeit a lot of dripping (sometimes a puddle if left standing for a bit). Asked dealer to check while in for service and s/a said it was normal. Mine is an '08 X5 3.0si if that helps any.

Good luck and I would be curious to find out how this sorts out. And happy new year to everyone!

Thanks but thought that , it's winter here so can't see how it would be condensation , it's water all right just don't know where it's coming from

You got me A bit worried so i double checked the driveway under the X5 this morning and luckily no spotting. It's winter here as well (New Jersey USA) but its been very mild for the most part. At least when the temps neared 60F, I would occassionaly catch some dripping - which is what drew me to your thread.

Just out of curiosity, are you getting any service/warning lights on the dash? Sounds like You may want to get it checked out in all likelihood.

Good luck again!

Sure can be water condensation. AC runs year round, dehumidifies the air and prevents the interior from steaming up.
