I got my LUX units today. I have seen the new X5 LED's in person and they are indeed quite bright and brighter than the LUX. But that being said they are still nice. I took some before and after photos. It's hard for the camera to do them justice...but the rings are brighter than stock. (sorry photos are crappy). I had some trouble with the connectors at first and the lights not working but got that resolved.

Hey Joe.....Would you be able to tell me where you purchased your LUX H8 V3? I'm trying to switch my 2010 X5's lights as well and need I don't know where to get them.
