Mine is Space Grey, which I believe is a great color for the X5. But, as you note, it is quite common, if you want something more unique.

I wish they would make a nice, bright or ruby red metallic with a grey interior.

I ended-up with beige, which I don't really like that much, as the only other choices at the time were tobacco and black.

I had a Monaco blue M6 for a few years. Good looking color and pretty rare. Never saw another M6 with it in LA.

Also, what exactly is the difference with the Shadowline trim? Haven't had the opportunity to see one with and without side by side to compare.

Thanks!
I think it looks great personally, thats why I flew up on Valentines day to Chicago to take it home to my wife! I have a 2004 Sterling Gray E53 4.4 and a 2003.5 BMW M3 Carbon Black Coupe. You should have jumped on it as it was flawless! Color Slightly Resembles the Carbon Black.

Pic upload not working right now, will post some pics soon.

BTW we own R&I Motorsports here in Roswell Ga so anyone need awesome service and pricing hit me up. I have tons of feedback and referrals on the m3forum New Shop in Roswell Ga (Atlanta) AWESOME Pricing and Service. - BMW M3 Forum.com (E30 M3 | E36 M3 | E46 M3 | E92 M3)

Funny how that works...
bit like mileage:

If you're buying: "But sir, these days cars can go for ever especially if it's a diesel"

Selling: Deep intake of breath, usually through the teeth: "That's a lot of miles! Can't give you that much for it"

Dealers have their own logic.

Ditto with my '06 650 6MT. A rare car to buy so I paid thru the nose.
Went to sell it, "No one wants a 6MT, it will sit 6 months on the lot". I lost $10K. It sold in 2 weeks with an $8K profit for the dealer.

Deep sea blue with tobacco here. Dark blue plus tobacco is a sweet combination.
