Added LCI rear tail lights + coding details
I just added the LCI rear tail lights, and coded the car. I was just going to add this to my original coding thread, but I can't reply to it for some strange reason.
The install for the lights is pretty simple, there are 3 bolts holding each outer light. Remove those, and unclip the harness and you are done. For the trunk lid lights, you need to loosen the lower part of the inner cover. Its all held on using snaps. Once you have access to the trunk lid lights, loosen one bolt. This will allow you to squeeze the locking clip releasing the lights. Installation is the reverse of what you did For the coding, You will need to modify your FA (Vehicle order). You need to add +MUEH to the FA in CAS and FRM. You can follow the instructions http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...2&d=1312021107 Once you have done that, you need to code your FRM using the Expert Profile in NCS Expert (which doesn't allow .man manipulation files). This step codes the module so that it knows you are running the LCI tail lights and it disables the brake light out warning. This will reset your FRM and any coding which you previously had in that module, you will need to redo. As an aside, my old tail lights are for sale http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=600795
