A few issues with my X5 50i
Just want to get some feedback from fellow members when I bring the truck to the dealership for these issues.
First and foremost is a newly discovered issue. Due to the rain storm we have in Socal today, I discovered that water could drip through my front reading light frame during the rain. It dripped more if I drove on an inclined surface. Wow, this definitely brought back the fond, distant memory of riding in my uncle's Fiat when I was little. And the front, top, and back cameras all went out, possibly due to the rain. I'll be bringing truck to the dealership next week. What should I also ask them to check to make sure that nothing else is damaged by the rain? What should they replace so I can make sure that this leakage won't happen again during the next rain.
Second is that I've been noticing clunking sounds in the rear of the truck. This happens when I turn into a shopping plaza with a steep inclined entrance that made the rear of the car flex. I suspect it could be due to the spring flexing. What do you think? Luckily I drive the truck everyday (as opposed to some of my friends who have converted their BMWs into an ultimate garage machine with no more than 500 miles after almost 7 months of ownership) and am able to discover these issues early on before the expiration of warranty. Hopefully, these issues will be resolved soon. Your feedback and response is greatly appreciated.
