First post here too...

You don't have to remove the glove box to pull the trim. Remove the small plastic cap behind it as there is one screw under it, and few more in the middle in the shifter and buttons area. Then you can slide the trim towards the seats, and then for the last section in the front, you pull the whole piece towards the back of the car!
