If the website said, "wheels are not inspected so we cant gaurantee they arent defective." then i understand the risks involved. so when I called them up I said, 1 of 3 things must have happened: 1. you inspected the wheel and didnt catch any defects, but you expect my mechanic to catch those defects? 2. you inspected the wheel, caught the defect but decided to send it to me anyways. 3. you didnt inspect the wheel at all, despite claiming you inspect all wheels on your website. his reply was, "we can inspect everything." so unproffesional. |

Of course- this is all spin, hype and lies. The larger question is why do people fall for it? I'd say your #1 is more accurately stated: We inspected the wheel and didnt catch any defects, but since we are giving you such a cheap price you accept the risk of getting a defective wheel. I've bought lots of used autoparts- and the issue is ALWAYS "if this is defective, i've invested labor in finding out...AND will need to hassle about return shipping and a refund". Finally, you are calling a used wheel seller- probably a tilt up warehouse with no heat and a grungy office- "unprofessional". Uh, duh. |
