as a nerd, you surely know you need a control for your experiment- AND all variables must be controlled, right?

If I told you my air was good, and hadn't lost a single psi in a year, will that be proof that air is equal to anything else???

Finally, dont kid yourself- what they use in racing is NOT what you get retail: The most you get is 94% in dealers, tire stores, etc...I have a nitrogen tank for filling shocks that is 99.95 technical pure, moisture free...easy to carry, store, etc.

I can appreciate what you are saying, however what I am looking to gather input on is simpler than what I think you may be alluding too. Does the nitrogen enriched gas in my tires lower the amout of effort I need to put into maintenance?

If I don't need to add or remove gas from my tires over a time that meets my cost to benefit ratio, it was worth it. What data I gather over that time may be of interest to others.

Interestingly enough I can now sleep at night knowing you have the proper gas to fill your shocks.

Bridgestones

Sears matches Tire Rack's prices for tires. I had four (4) 18" Bridgestone Dueler RFT's installed for $964 out the door including balancing and new TPMS valve kits (Not new TMPS sensors).

I thought that was a pretty good deal considering the local dealer was looking for $1400 or so.

You got my interest there but it looks like Sears doesn't sell the 20" RFT's so not an option for me.

They will order them and you have them delivered to your local sears auto....I made my whole transaction through the live chat feature..... I forgot to mention I also received a $100 sears gift card in the deal....now I have a nice new 19" LED in the kitchen...

Here's the only controlled empirical evidence I have seen on 95% nitrogen vs. 78% nitrogen ("air"):

Well, not really, but folks need to stop thinking the "world" is on the internet. Call, Ask.

Old fashioned.
