I have the suspension heavily modified in my M3, so I may just get the X5 without ad if I can't find one

I like the first one too, but I'm still not too sure if I should get one without a warranty though. The X isn't a cheap car to fix!!
I may actually skip both and keep on looking. The white on black or Nevada leather is looking pretty hot!! |

You want to not spend the money, fine- but be educated about the decision. |

All I'm saying is that I have a M3 when I want good handling car (the roads and highways around here are pathetically boring), and the X is going to be my commuter. With very few used X diesels available locally, I don't like the adaptive concept enough to hold out for one. Yes I did do my research and a lot of owners share the same opinion. |

i personally wouldnt buy an x5 that wasnt heavily optioned including sport/adaptive drive, 20 inch, just get an mdx if you dont care about handling, i dont see the point of spending all of the money and only getting the shell of a bmw.

I looked high & low, but couldn't find a single used X with adaptive drive. If you guys find me one, I'd consider it.
Otherwise, I don't know how picky I can be in the used market. |

I appreciate your feedback. But 20s and good handling is an oxymoron. A heavier wheel will always handle worse, and a tire with too little rubber is likely to the same. Hence I went with 18" wheels for the M3's track wheels.
