Execuhitch users- looking for feedback
Thinking of putting the hitch on our upcoming 2012 as they are local here in ATL. Thanks! |

Execuhitch seems like a great idea. I wish that I would have known about it when I leased my 2011 X5. The factory hitch ruins the clean looks of the rear valence panel. To make it even worse, the cutout is way too big and the trim piece that covers the cut edge looks bent up.

If I had it to do over on my 2010 I would go for the execuhitch and the BMW harness to retain the anti sway features that it provides.

Thanks for the replies.
Chuck, can you explain what you mean? |

In the X5 with the trailer hitch BMW wiring installed and a trailer attached the X5 knows that a trailer is attached and the stability control system that uses the anti lock brake system is used to help control trailer sway. Re programming the system by BMW is required for this to work. With the wiring that Execuhitch uses I do not believe that this anti sway is available.
