1. Stop. Do not approve anything
2. What SPECIFICALLY are they saying will cost $3000. Precise words, what is the defect, the defect code- what test plan was run and what parts are they proposing to replace? Get it from them in writing, post it here. 3. When you bought the car to them with these errors, what codes did they find when they did a diagnostic? Post them. |

I do agree with ard here. You're being bent over by the dealer (no offense, of course)...you need to take matters into YOUR court and TELL them what YOU WANT. Don't trust them, ever. Only time I'd trust them is if I had a warranty and nothing would cost me--in general terms. Either find a good indy, or negotiate with the dealer on YOUR terms. Don't let them just tell you you need to pay $3000-$5000 and be fine with it. GOOD LUCK! |
