Replaced DDE

I'm already outside the lemon law range in my state. My car is over 3 years old. However, they are approaching the point where I may still ask them to goodwill me after what will be my 4th visit for same problem since December when it goes back in Monday - if they cannot fix for good.

Let us know how that goes.... 3 years is way beyond goodwill, IMO.

Keep in mind that sometimes the first time a failure presents can establish the time, not when you finally get tired of it.

car went in for two problems and left with none. All is right in the world again. The DDE was replaced with a new (possibly upgraded) unit. Even the dealer wasn't sure if the part had been re-engineered to address a pre-existing issue. Thinking about the extended warranty, though, with only 10 months to go on existing warranty.
