Having trouble following here... I've never seen my sport mode deactivate itself.

That's not what I meant. When you shut the car off and remove the key(cycle the ignition), it defaults to off.

No, it doesn't. I've left it on for weeks at a time, driving the car on 2-5 trips per day with many ignition cycles. Stop being a know-it-all.

Perhaps it does in nra4.8is' because he has an E53? In which case, why is he chiming in on topics that he doesn't know the answer to, evidently? Maybe in his E53 it shuts off.

Speaking of chiming in, e53 does not have a sport button. You guys are correct I was thinking of another model. My bad bro, no need to be a d..k.

Btw I have more seat and diagnostic time on e70 than you do in the years of your ownership. So being a know it all, I kinda earned it w BMW Na. Next time u feel that you want to be a d..k save the energy and do something constructive.
