yes is protecting the paint, aside from popular believe PD does not affect the clear coat. the stories people hear are people that have dipped a shitty paint job before the paint cured and when pulled of the PD took the clear...

am very happy with it, love how aggressive it looks, and its funny everywhere i go people give compliments and when i tell them what it is, first thing out of their mouth is "can i touch it?" lol

P.S will continue to look for the camera charger !

Update.


Had to remove the dip from the body apparently the cold temperature caused a lot of stripping on the doors after settled, the dip remains on the roof which has no issue and looks great as well as on the wheels and eyelids.

I did love the look of the matte black so i will attempt to dip her again before Bimmerfest
