I will give you a call Friday, would love to see it, love those wheels. I may also need one last GT1 scan for the time being, I had the 3 yellow lights again and if we pull up DSC module codes again I'll send the ABS module to get rebuilt, I think thermal cycling has made the connections poor and that is why I am getting intermittent errors.

Anyways back on topic, did they give you a good trade for the E53 and did you trade in with stock Nav or Hualingan?

I got a good trade with the stock nav, but I forget to take out my Sirius module, this one did not have Sirius.

Awesome, good to hear (I was hoping you put stock back in to get more $$$ on trade) Must be such a huge upgrade E70 from E53!

Well I just got my car back from JMK BMW I Springfield on route 22 and all my rims are damaged, they tried painting over so I won't see, the manager and SA said the car came in like this which is BULLSHIT!! I will never do any service there again, the last service I did they left my fan off just resting in the shroud, I am going to write BMW a letter, I know they took pics of my car before working on it, they say they didn't.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1369758922.027927.jpg

Wow, they really damaged those rims. Sorry to see that.

I would push them to repair. The longer it's left, the older the paint and scratches will look.

Also, you need to take some better pictures if you're going to BMW.

Neil that is absolutely horrible! I have never had service there before but I definitely will not frequent that service dept!

For what its worth, most dealerships usually have guys that come through and do mobile wheel repair, and honestly if they were to fix the curbage on those wheels they could do all 4 in a day and it probably only costs the dealer a total of 200 bucks.

I know this because my buddy had to repair one of my wheels after he dropped it when balancing my wheels, looks flawless and he said the guy only charges 50 bucks a corner for repairing scratches, curbage. He sands down the damage, fills if needed smoothes, paints and blends and honestly you couldn't tell my wheel was ever fixed (it wasn't curbed but had a couple of chips in the paint from being dropped)

As per previous post, one of the reasons that I was saying pursue it with dealership is that the dealership (as mine has does) probably has a wheel repair guy come to their location to repair wheels. It's not an expensive option for the dealership -- mine likes to charge the customer a minimum of $250 per wheel per wheel though! I used them once...

The wheel guy did a great job though. He repaired wheels at the local BMW, MB, Porsche, Nissan and others...
