Sorry to hear that Neil...

Ive been a JMK BMW customer for years now, and never had any issues with them, I believe Alexmish will say the same. Have you tried reaching out to their Service Dept Manager?

Also, let me share this as almost the thing happened to me... i bought a preowned 330i from a dealer in PA that only sell luxury cars. Car was pristine when i bought it, and yes, after 2-3 car washes, my rims showed the curb rashes that was never there before when i bought it... i was like, they are surely good at hiding them, lol...

Btw, I only work with one SA at JMK, when i make a reservation, i make sure Jacob is in that day, he usually takes care of me...

Yes I spoke to the service manager and another guy, They both told me the car was brought in like that and there is nothing they can do, but I notice their photographer standing there taking pictures, I hope they are not doing that to use those pic for the before shots, JMK sent me a massage through "Dealerrater" admitting that my car was damage in their car wash, so I hope we can work something out, I now notice that my tires are damage also.

How long has it been? Maybe give it more time and don't do anything hasty? Just a different flavor of X5 that you may learn to love.
