I am having the same size Pirelli P Zero installed tomorrow - they are a dedicated performance tires vs the Scorpion truck tires with no performance characteristics promised.

You're in an ///M, so I can understand the need/desire for a more performance based tire. If I were still in an ///M car, I'd opt for a more performance based tire myself. My X5 is a cruiser, so the Scorpion works well for my needs. My X5 also came with 20" M-Sport wheels mounted to Bridgestone Dueler RFT's, so the Scorpions offer a noticeable improvement in handling/grip.

Update:

I may not get the X5 back until tomorrow evening. Fitment is still in the fine tuning process, and he mentioned that the fender well liner needs to be trimmed about 1/4". He will be sending another picture sometime today.

Update #2:

Here are pics of the nearly complete fitment of the X5M bumper onto my 2013 X5 35i. My body shop dudes are doing the business! One more fill session, and the bumper will be ready for prep/paint and final fitment (..gaps present in the photos are due to the fact that the fender flares/bumper weren't fully mounted). Also, they made some additional holes at the bottom of the bumper where it mounts to the engine cover to bolt/screw the bumper sufficiently.

P.S. Damn, my FMI is smaller than a newborn baby.

P.P.S. muddycharles, as I assumed initially, no cutting of the X5M fender flares was necessary. The only modification needed was to the bumper itself (..to sharpen/square off the corner because it was rounded).

Wow - this is starting to come together. Cant wait to see the fully assembles pictures - I do understand what you mean about rounding the crease on the new bumper to match ours.......

What are you going to do about the fog lights? LED bar?

I should have a fully mounted/prepped picture sometime today. I think they are beginning the painting today as well. As for the fog lights.........removed. IF it causes a CEL I will just have it coded out.

Update #3:

The parts have been primed, sealed and are ready for paint. My body shop connect had to fabricate a few mount points for the X5M fender flares (..rivet points are the same however) and trim the corners a bit more, but it turned out well. Parts will be painted Monday, installed and polished Tuesday, and I get her back on Wednesday.
