X5M BANDIT is on a distinguished road

Hello - Does anyone know how to turn ON the front sensors without putting the car in reverse?

I am sure my 2010 X5 automatically turned on the front PDC sensors when i came close to an object - but my new X5 M sport doesn't actuate the Front sensors unless i stick the car in reverse - which is very annoying when driving straight into a parking space.

Its probably and easy fix , but i cannot seem to work it out.
