They have a good balance. Remember, the inner angel eye is not crisp (light flooded though the inner lens) if the bulb is too bright. LUX is right on the edge of this limit for me

That's a great point. I've noticed this before. Kinda the crap part about the way these angels eyes are setup. May do a little test to see what the good options are. Might spend some money to compare brands and brightness.
