Is it legit or big time scam?
Me asking: Do you accept cashier's check or money order in a form of a payment, or just bank wire? Is it a correct vin# you listed?

i spoke to you earlier today regarding the above vehicle. Sorry, it was a busy day for me, could not do this until now. I can't think of much to ask other than a couple questions:
Is the vehicle payoff with clean and clear title in hand?
Can you send me a copy of the title and registration?
Are you allow an inspection?

Seller response:
The X5 is still for sale but I have already handed it into consignment to a dealership in Charleston, SC. The BMW is technically still mine, the dealership only has power of attorney over it so either I find a buyer or they do. No dealership tax/fees will be applied for this sale. If you want you may contact the dealer. Although they may have advertised it at a different price, if you tell them you were referred by the original seller the price will be the same as advertised by me and they will honor it.

The vehicle has been paid off, there is no lean on it.We have the title in hand but unfortunately I am not authorized to send it out unless we sign a Vehicle Order contract.Also, we do allow inspection.

3. OWNERSHIP
3.1 The Seller guarantees that and he/she is the true and lawful owner of the above described
vehicle and that it is free of all encumbrances and any and all legal claims.
4. WARRANTY :
4.1 The Seller warrants that at the date of signature of this agreement there are no
licensing fees or fines or other penalties outstanding against the registration of the vehicle
sold in terms of this agreement.
4.2 The Seller warrants that the vehicle is in perfect condition, has never been involved in
an accident or any other traffic incident and that it has no mechanical, or esthetical issues
such as: paint scratches or dings, hull deformations, cracks of the lighting or signaling
devices, cracks of front windshield, rear windshield, or side windows, rust.
5. TEN DAYS MONEY BACK GUARANTEE:
5.1 The Seller offers and guarantees a 10 (Ten) days inspection period. The Seller agrees
to accept the returns of all products mentioned above (hereafter referred to as “products”)
and to refund the Buyer, without any conditions, within the extent of the inspection
period.
5.2 The inspection period begins at 12:01 am, the weekday following the delivery day, as
signed and certified by the Buyer on the delivery receipt.

5.3 A notification to return the products may be issued by the Buyer to the Seller at any
time, during the inspection period. The return notification should be addressed to the
Seller by fax, or registered mail.
6. LEGAL AGE:
6.1 The Buyer is of legal age and legally competent to enter into this agreement.
7. TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP AND COSTS:
7.1 The Parties agree to sign all documents necessary to transfer ownership of the vehicle
from the Seller to the Buyer within 10 (Ten) days of signing this agreement of sale.
7.2 The Buyer shall be liable for all administrative costs relating to the registration of the
vehicle onto his/her name and all costs relating to the Roadworthy Certificate.
8. PURCHASE PRICE:
8.1 The Purchase price, including all fees and taxes, is in the amount of $000.00
8.2 The Purchase price is to be paid in full in a manner as agreed by both parties (specify):

8.3 Ownership of the vehicle will only pass onto the Buyer once the bank honors the
legal instrument of payment agreed by both parties as per §8.2.
