X5-ERROR is on a distinguished road
So the car is in the hand of my indy and we called BMW to find a caliper and bracket only to find them completely useless. They keep telling us the X6 never came with a dual caliper but when I search online I am able to find it. They even have the same casting numbers on it.

Amazon.com: Centric 141.34112 Front Brake Caliper: Automotive

Front Left Unloaded Rebuilt Brake Caliper BMW X5 X6 141.34112 [141.34112] - $72.00 : Auto Brake Center, Brake Pads, Rotors, All Cars, All Models, Free Local Delivery in Los Angeles, CA

Anyone have any clue where I might locate the bracket?
Any change the stock bracket is compatible? I didn't really look at them I just assumed the dual piston caliper wouldn't work. Yeah that is just wishful thinking.

Go back to stock ... readily available second hand (you only need one side, right?) ... same braking power .... sell dual piston caliper and get mega bucks for it.

X5-ERROR is on a distinguished road
Quick update, my mechanic ordered a X6 caliper and bracket from BMW and installed it while I was on my honeymoon. It was a direct fit onto the X5. Total cost for parts and labor was like $565.00.

Total cost for the brake job was around $1000.00 (New everything). Given the price I paid I would say a person could go from complete stock X5 brakes to dual piston X6 brakes for around $1500.00. That about 1/2 the price of the brembo 4 piston kit.

Where are you located?
What Brakes/Rotors do you have? What Bran and are they a direct fit to a 2010 X5 4.8 M Sport?
