Can't get brake pads

So I ordered ebc red stuff brake pads from Amazon and the ones I got wouldn't fit. They were for a single piston caliber and mine are dual piston. So I sent them back and ordered brembo pads from tirerack and they came today and again the wrong pads. I called tirerack and they said all x5 come with the same brakes and they are a single piston. I sent them photos of my caliber and the stock pads as well as the VIN. Now I'm waiting to hear back from them. I have to note none of the brick and mortar stores didn't have them in stock either.

Anyone have a part number or is it by chance the old owner upgraded the brakes? I'm not sure what the deal is I just know my X5 is sitting on jack stands waiting on pads and it sucks.

Cross reference the p/n in the picture to the ones you need for your car.

Where are you located?
Oddly enough not to far from you. I'm in Wilkes Barre,pa.
Are those for a dual piston caliber? They look smaller then mine. They look like the ebc I got from Amazon.

It appears that the calipers on your car have been upgraded to Brembo dual piston. You need to find out what calipers you have and then find the corresponding pads ... can't go by realoem or VIN.

Or just get the p/n's from the pads that came off your car?

Do you know anyone in our area that needs a set of rotors, pads and sensor like the ones I have for sale?

The instructions said a 7mm hex to get the caliber but it ended up being a 9mm and to remove the bracket it said a 16mm socket but it was a outside torx bit.

Well I guess it's nice they were upgraded but a sucky way to find out. Thanks everyone.

Thanks I'll email him.

On the pads they say jurid 187 ff which seems like a reo pad. The rotor size is stock so I'm guessing just the caliber and bracket are from a e39.
