I have version 18.10 running on a Galaxy S4 with Android 5.0.1 nothing out of the ordinary to report. Perhaps the issue is specifically related to Android 5.0.2

As I think about things, I had the problem with the black text in the grey background with all versions of BMWhat/Carly.

I also think I have had the same Android OS on my tablet the entire time.

So it is either an Android 5.0.2 issue or a LG issue with their color scheme/pallet implementation.

Ozer had an LG phone with a similar problem, he mentioned dark grey on a black background, but maybe he has the background and font color swapped in his head?

Would be nice to get a screen shot from Ozer and confirm the Android OS version.

Im running Carly 18.10 and Android 5.1

It looks easy to read on here but in the car, especially if you have the screen brightness set to auto vs full, its impossible to read it.

This is Android 4.2.2 on an S 4 Active. The Tab 4 7.0 is running 4.4.2 and looks the same. They're older versions but they check out.

They're may be something to the Android 5.x.x reports regarding color palette.
The Note 3 is on Android 5.0 and I see the white text on gray background just like that.

Must be the LG skin on Android. We'll need more data to be sure.

Black text on a grey background is NOT good.

Would like to see if this is an LG thing or a newer Android color scheme.

Anyone else with Black test on a grey background please report in.

I have posted a fairly comprehensive "how to" video covering how to set up and run the Carly for BMW app both for diagnostics and DPF regeneration here https://youtu.be/-KjUiUOTxS8 for any prospective new Carly users.

Saw some members have recently been able to code the lift gate to close with the keyfob. I plugged in my adapter and was not getting this to option to come up. Is this for Android only? I have a wifi adaptor and iPhone iOS. Thanks all -

Not sure about IOS, it should be the same as Android unless for some reason there is a delay in the IOS functions compared to Android.

Do not recall what module the function is in.

Also assume you have the Automatic Liftgate feature on the vehicle?

Do you have the latest IOS version of Carly?

I indeed have the auto lift gate function. Latest version of the app is installed. Any other iOS users out there that have been able to code this function? I have sent an email to Carly about this but their German to English translater must not be working so well lol. Very difficult to understand and does not answer the question at all. Told me its wasn't possible yet - even though their website lists it as a recent addition to the coding options.
