in case anyone wanted a visual let me paint the picture : 9:30pm NYC, snow all around, black ice galore, street light on wrong side of the street and no other lighting. Me with sweatpants and jacket with rubber gloves over leather ones cuz its so freeking cold (19F+wind) giving the car hood and windshield a rubdown with a hot wet towel. for anyone who thinks its not cold enough for water to freeze on impact, let me burst your bubble its cold enough for near instant freeze.
long story short i THINK i got most or all of the egg(s) that i could see from windshield, hood, fender, lifted hood from the seam, the lift arms, a little on the headlight but nothing a little power washing cant do later even if it dries. scrubbed down the windshield wipers and will pray for the best and that i got all or most of it. will take to car wash tomorrow and hope they got hot water. only spot i had a hard time with was between the front fenderwell trim and the fender itself (its painted since the M-package) but figure thats not that big a deal but tried to scrub it out. on that note if anyone has any other suggestions please feel free but for now IT'S A WRAP. good night NYC and to those fuckheads who did this I hope you get run over by a TRUCK you lowlife pieces of doodoo!!! |

Hard to have anything nice in "the city that never sleeps".
Had to repair the body damage/replace the door handle on my Audi Coupe GT Quattro several times when I worked/went to school in NY (mid '80s). Fukwads would grab the door handle with vise-grips and bend up/down to break into it.

This ain't even in the City, its on Staten Island. OK so we had snow and my wife had to park for work and guess parked in front of someone's house but leave a note heck call a tow truck but don't damage the car. I'm only assuming it was retribution for the parking situation, oh and they flipped the driver side mirror outward, probably didn't realize it went that way specifically for their stupidity. hope I dont find more shit wrong with it in the AM

I had my issues in New Rochelle, Country Club (Bronx) and Long Island/Flushing/College Point.

I would find a scratch about every other week on my roommates e60 m5 when we were in Long Island City. I live in Union City now and thankfully getting a house further in New Jersey. Can't own a nice car in the city unless you have it in a garage which is too damn expensive.
Sorry about that man! wish you had a camera to catch these fucks |
