So BMW is pulling cars in early and replacing batteries that are on their way out from discharge and recharge.

Ron you seem to be posting this nonsense in a few places based on who-knows-what...
Now in this thread you read about the turbo cooling and that little factoid is added to you 'theory'
You talked to some mechanic in town and now have the BMW system figured out????
Your assertions appear to have no basis in reality. We know for a fact that the BMW system purposefully does NOT immediately charge a battery after an overnight sit and cold start, to reduce load on the alt and improve mileage/emissions, and instead the intelligent system waits for the engine to warm and enter cruising mode before it loads the alternator. This is precisely why modern BMWs driven for short drives kills the battery- they never get fully charged.
You assertion that they charge super fast and that kills them is nonsense.
I do note in your other post, you knwo a "battery czar" ...BUT you say you need more information.... I will reply there, but why add your nonsense here to this thread if you dont have the full story?
