I used either 12mm or 15mm hubcentric spacers that went from 74.1mm to 72.56mm…along with extended wheel bolts (added the width of the spacer to the existing lug bolt length). So no need to waste all the money you spent…you can still use them with spending a few more dollars for spacers and extended bolts. Here’s some images with the Style 87 wheels mounted on my f15:

That is such a fantastic tip. Can I a mount e53 on e70 using this trick?

Do take into consideration the wheel’s offset because most don’t want the wheels to stick out past the fender. For those unfamiliar…to get the final wheel offset when using spacers…you DEDUCT the width of the spacer from the wheel’s offset. So a 45mm offset wheel with a 15mm spacer installed will have a new offset of 30mm…not 60mm. I dug back thru my online purchases and found that I did purchase 15mm spacers. The vendor doesn’t have any online presently…but a quick eBay search did find some…the pic below is for 20mm spacers & extended bolts being sold for the e39…but these would also work for the e70/f15 since they have the same wheel bolt pattern. But you’d need to contact the vendor about the lug bolts…the X5 uses a slightly different lug bolt.

I appreciate the complimentary vehicle check by the dealer that includes information like brake pad thickness and tread depth of each tire, but a bit oil dampness in the belly pan does not mean I need to replace the stinking valve cover for $2400. Still, getting my F15 and the CEO's F32 serviced, including a state inspection and brake fluid flush and getting out the door at about $600 was a pretty good achievement compared to my previous dealer. And I can't complain when the Christmas trip to Corpus Cristi and back averaged 25mpg at 80mph in the F15 .

N55 Turbo 3.0
Got 22.1 on the southbound trip and 27.9 on the northbound return. It's only turning about 1900 rpm at 80 mph.

What did you do to / for your F15 today?
Wow on the 3.0 newer model. The e70 30 gets worse mpg than wife's 50i!
I need to replace my 01 e53 (killed by deer) but budget will keep my grounded to another e53. I saw an 08 that is possible so I may squeak into an e70 but n52 I think which prob will be very similar mpg to my EX five (I made that up the other day).

I stayed away from the E70 because of the broken differentials, and the ones I had as loaners always felt overweight to me. The F15 seemed to retain a higher degree of nimbleness. Transmissions seemed okay on them though.

QSilver, those 87s look great on the F15, they are a truly timeless design. Ran my 87s on the E70 for a while and loved the look.
Anyone know if OF ever got those M4 wheels to work?
