Well 10,000 miles went by so it was in for an oil change, brake fluid flush and 4 wheel alignment. Handling was getting a little squirrelly with a trailer tongue load. Everything went well until it was time to set toe-in and they found the inner and outer tie rod adjustment threads seized. With a $2400 quote for replacement, I'll try some penetrating oil and torch heat first.


Honestly can't believe the incredible performance this thing can provide (29.1 mpg on my last 575 mile run), yet how something basic like a tie rod can seize up at 136,000 miles in Texas where there's no rust issues.
