Really liking the shape now.

Can't wait.

LeMans - Thanks very much for all of these photos and information. We all appreciate it.

One question for you LeMans, have you heard anything about Adaptive Drive for the new X5? Seems like the new 3-Series has suspension/eco-mode options but I am not sure how the "sport/sport+" modes compare to the Adaptive Drive that is currently offered on the X5. Are they interchangeable? Are they different?

I'm a huge fan of Adaptive drive, particularly due to the height/weight of the X5, and hope that BMW keeps Adaptive Drive as an option.

Thanks.

Are those side exterior rear view mirrors look smaller than the current E70 to you? Or do they just look small due to the camouflage?

I hope they retain the same size mirrors as in the E70. I’m a fan of the large mirrors.

admittedly lots of camo on them still; but some of the lines (e.g. the kink) are more visible on those shots.

It'll definately have the current BMW styling trend, looking at the latest photos. The kidney grill looks more vertical than the current model, just like the new 1, 3, X1 and X3 series.

so not a fan of the latest style'd kidneys. Especially on the 5s, even though the body shape is sexy otherwise.

Fingers crossed for additional rear leg room and reasonable third row....otherwise I'll have to buy a Suburban or Sequia

You may have to rush if you want R-class as MB has killed it in US. 2012 MY is the last one.

If it makes you feel better, X7 is still being considered by BMW board and may happen.
