I think they meant "a more powerful presence". But I too laughed when I heard it as spoken from the video.

And I too agree, with the additional (albeit small) increases in overhang, the car look less squat.

The taillights and bumper/tailgate design elements (to me at least) makes the car look taller, not wider as the presenter from the previous videos indicated. Perhaps a 20" wheels and wider wheel arch combo will fix that.

But overall, it still has road presence and as a lot have already mentioned before, it's starting to grow on me.

Other than being able to see the three generations together ahead of the eventual daily occurrence in a local mall parking garage, that video was quite lame.

X5 goes on sale in UK on November 16th.

X5 sDrive 25d at £42,590 – that’s nearly £3,000 less than the current entry-level car(which BTW is all wheel drive).

PalBay, great spy shots as your usual!

It is still my least fave X5...that massive front end still looks like it came from a different design model that had sitting around in the studio.
But, everyone has their own bag...

Thank you. The F15 X5 is growing on me the more I see it in full production mode. I like the front fascia...reminds me of the F30 3 Series...which I like. Once you see it in the metal you might change your mind Take care. PalBay

So does anyone know what the "dot' in between the bottom of kidneys on the white X's is? Camera? I'm also now seeing many versions of the lower intakes....SHOULD the F15 grow on me it will be typical that whatever version I like the most will not be part of the powerplant option I want the most! The larger fender flares look a little better....

Wow, I didn't notice the dot before your post, now I can't take my eyes off of it!

Your camera guess sounds plausible, and perhaps it completes the surround/top/side view, which is missing on the E70. I wish they could have hidden it in be of the many openings in the bumper, as it definitely sticks out in that spot.

I like the F15, and while I still like my E70, I have a feeling it might look dated even faster than the E53 did. The M Sport looks good, but I like the base model as well. Does anyone else think that the passenger side lower bumper intake on the base model looks like a letter G?

I had noticed that when the first spy shots of uncovered bumper came out.
But that G is only for one line of X5. The other line is sideways T(since we are talking of letters).

i wonder if the design engineers are trying to tell us something by spelling something.. maybe an ancient curse?... or, maybe a recepe for a better designed X???
