If the Dynamic Handling Package is as good or better than Adaptive Drive on the E70, I would get the DHP. I have had 3 X5 E70(4.8, 50i) and all had AD or AD equivalent(4.8 was a bit different). I did have a 2011 without AD for over a month when the 2011 was in the shop and it drove much different. The DHP/AD make the car drive that much sportier. Then again, if you are not a driver and don't need the "added handling" you can skip it.
