OP, ChrisF posted some vital information for you that BMW released via the care package. I would recommend that you find yourself an indy shop that you trust. Conversely, if you a dealership type of person, try to establish a relationship with the SA. Enjoy the vehicle!

Just noticed you don't have a heated steering wheel - give me a shout if you are looking to do the retrofit, I have a brand new spare heated wheel that I will give a good deal on. It is a heated M sport wheel.

Hey Joe,

You're welcome. I'm sure you're going to love the X6. I only have 300 miles on the M and haven't jumped on it yet but the difference is incredible. Glad I made the switch.

Thanks Chris,

I will let you know later if I decide to change it. I keep both X's in the garage and the heated seats are keeping the most important part very warmed, .

Jumping to another subject: Do you know what is that motor that comes on if I open one of the door? I have been searching and some drivers believe it is the fuel pump!! other said it is the suspension's pump calibrating the ride high because one of the shock's bag has a leak!!

Thanks Pierce330,

I am looking into the Care package as soon as I get a break from work. The car is driving fantastic right now.

Yes, that is the high pressure fuel pump priming itself - it should only do it when you unlock and open the door - I know, I was curious about the sound myself and thought I had a bad motor/mechanism somewhere

Well,

I am too impatient. I figured it out. It is the air bag pump. My X6 is lowering it self (rear) after about 5 minutes, all the way down! Is that normal? As soon as I open one of the door, the compressor start and the rear start to go up. Anyway, I ordered two of this; Amazon.com: Arnott A-2642 Air Spring: Automotive. It seems as the compressor is overworking it self.

If you pop the wheel off, you should be able to see the airbags between the springs - does the rubber look cracked?

You may have a leak somewhere in the tubing too - which is a bit of a pain to figure out, but it can be done.

Since I already ordered them, I will replace them and go from there. If it is something else I am going to be so mad
