Yup, that's the exact car I viewed and sat in during the focus group. Looks like they kept the rear end, shame.

The interior is a 2+2 with VERY limited cargo space and poor cargo height as well.

I like it, but I'm guessing it'll easily reach the $80K+ range with the options I'd want, and that would put it out beyond my financial reach...

Hmmm, hard to say really due to its dimentions. I would say that it falls between a 3 and a 5 series. It being a hatchback with a sloping rear window minimises the the storage height. That is my main complaint because it would be very difficual to put my dog back there.
